Thank God this RV park is open!! RVing is a great way to self isolate and social distance so I have a hard time believing that it is good to close them!! Us full timers have to be somewhere!! The casino and restaurants are closer but the RV park is very well kept and only $25/night. Great walking roads.

One of the nicest RV parks we’ve stayed at. Big rig friendly (were a 44ft class A) with paved wide roads and paved pads. Utilities are awesome (high water pressure) and the park is beautiful. They’ve got grills and picnic tables at each site, lots of trash cans around and plenty of dog cleanup stations.

We usually stay at Winstar on our way back to FL from OK. They have pull thrus and back in spaces. Reservations are highly recommended. Small trees no shade but good for satellite. Get a players card and you will receive a discount on stay. They look to see if you have a players card now and automatically give you the discount. Paved level spots with full hookups. Fast efficient friendly check in. Nice pool. The casino is huge - mile long from end to end. They have finished the new hotel tower and added an arena for outdoor venues. Shuttle service seems to be working better. There is also a new exit from I-35 at the north end, however we think it's better if you take the south exit to reach the RV park. There is fuel at the south stop. You can overnight in the truck parking area to the left before you get to the RV park. Gravel lot. Shuttle does come to the gravel lot.

The RV park is still clean, pristine and level with full hookups. The shuttle service can be a bit slow, but delivers to all areas of the casino. As it is about a mile from one end to the other, this is a nice feature. They also have a big rig parking lot next to the casino, partially paved, partially gravel, with no hookups, but the shuttle bus drives through on its regular run. The pavilion is complete, as well as a new swimming pool. If you are a regular at the casino, they send you free nights in the hotel, which you can use in the RV park. We have attended rallies at the RV park as well as just staying anytime we drive north from Texas. It is advised to make a reservation as sometimes they are full, especially on the weekends. The casino has a Ladies Day and Men's Day, as well as Senior Breakfast on Wednesday and Thursday. The breakfast were being catered and were great, but now they just have them in the buffet - hey, its still free! There are several restaurants and a buffet inside the casino, as well as fast food places. There are service stands for free sodas and coffee/tea, as well as several bars, a sports tv that is the size of my house, and very friendly staff.

March 30, 2012. Beautiful, new park, paved pads. Long level pull thrus, some back-ins. No cable TV but satellite access no problem since no mature trees yet. 3 local channels (NBC, CBS, ABC). Shuttle service could be better with 30-45 minute wait when busy. I think they need a dedicated shuttle for just the RV park due to the size of the complex. They no longer charge more for the weekends and have weekly rates and monthly rates. Rate is $25 per night with $5 discount if you have Winstar players card. Building a new guest pavilion with swimming pool. Nice paved dog walk/walking path. Game room, basketball court. 2 large bathrooms and 2 laundry rooms. Office staff very helpful and friendly. Current promotion is if you stay 2 nights in RV park, the person the site is registered under gets $10 free play.
The casino is huge. About a mile walk from one end to the other. Better promotions than before. Ladies night and Men's night $20 free play. Free senior breakfast Wednesdays and Thursdays is current promotion. RV's were still parking overnight in the south lot. Security patrolling 24/7.

Winstar Casino From My Location To My

Welcome to our Winstar Casino Thackerville, OK location. El Fenix® Mexican Restaurants are as much a part of the Dallas tradition as the State Fair of Texas. Both have roots dating back to the 19th century. The birth of Tex-Mex food, El Fenix-style, began in the 1890s with the birth of Miguel (Mike) Martinez. In search of greater opportunity, 20-year-old Miguel left Mexico and settled in Dallas, Texas. Miguel, now Mike, learned the art of food preparation working in the kitchen of the posh Oriental Hotel in downtown Dallas. Mike married Faustina Porres, also from Mexico and shortly thereafter, opened Martinez Café in 1916. That same year, the first of their eight children was born. In 1918, Mike renamed his restaurant El Fenix Café. The first menu featured mostly American food, but Mike soon began to offer his guests more exotic tastes with combination plates of Mexican-American dishes. Over time, the El Fenix menu evolved into a new innovative style called Tex-Mex and has been copied… but never duplicated!
